Parents’ Rights in Education (PRE) is a national advocacy organization dedicated to protecting the rights of parents in America’s public schools.
Founded in 2011, PRE has grown from a grassroots movement in Oregon into a multi-state organization representing millions of voices. We stand united to defend children and stop the destructive politicization of education.
We believe education should value students, empower parents, and strengthen communities. While our members come from diverse backgrounds and political beliefs, we are united by a common conviction: education is fundamental to our children’s future, and schools must be safe, constructive environments where every student can grow and thrive.
Parents—not bureaucracies—hold the legal right to direct their children’s education. PRE exists to ensure that right, upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court, is never diminished. We reject efforts by massive, unrelated bureaucratic systems to impose fringe political agendas on our children.
We support schools focused on teaching academics and core skills, not indoctrination. We oppose the forced sexualization of children, the promotion of racist doctrine, and any attempt to undermine families’ roles in shaping values and community life.
PRE strives for school policies that reflect community values—without coercion, intimidation, or reprisal. Families are the most important stakeholders in a child’s education, and parents’ voices must be heard. Public schools should inspire students as scholars, not politically activate them.
We are here to equip parents with the tools, training, and support they need to speak up and make change.
Parents and allies standing together. Millions of voices speaking as one.
Stop messing with our kids. It ends here.
