About

Parents' Rights in Education

We are an advocacy organization promoting the rights of parents within our public schools.

Established in 2011, we have grown from an Oregon-based group into a multi-state organization representing millions of voices and standing up for children to stop the destructive politicization of our education system.

We are committed to valuing students, empowering parents, and supporting communities to secure great education in America.   While our Parents’ Rights voices come from a variety of backgrounds and political beliefs, we are united by our belief that education is fundamental to our children, and it should be a safe, constructive environment in order for them to grow and prosper.

As parents, we have the legal right to direct our children’s education and Parents’ Rights in Education is here to make sure the Supreme Court’s decision to give us those rights is continually upheld.   We recognize the rights of parents to speak for their children and reject the idea that a massive unrelated public bureaucratic system has any right to indoctrinate our children with extreme fringe politics.

We support the role of education in teaching core skills and reject the dangerous obsession to force extreme sexualization and racist doctrine on our children.  We are not interested in education usurping our rights as parents and undermining our family roles within our community.

Parents Rights in Education strives for the return of community values being properly represented and reflected in school policies without the current trend of coercion and reprisal.  We believe families are the most important stakeholders in our children’s education and parents voices matter.

Our mission is to ensure that public schools are safe environments for all students, inspiring and uniting all students as scholars.  Parents expect their children to attend school to learn academics, not be politically activated.

We are here to help give parents the tools that will help them stand with us.

The answer is you.
